Making an offer
So now you think you've found your dream home. It's time to make an offer...
When making an offer you will need to provide the following information: your offer price, your buying position, proof of funds, mortgage/ agreement in principle, proof of ID and proof of address, as well as your solicitor’s details.
Acceptance of offer
Great news, your offer has been accepted! The next thing you need to do is choose a conveyancing specialist to act for you in buying the property. Book in a property survey
There are three types of survey: a mortgage valuation, a homebuyer survey, and a full building survey. We always recommend having a survey, but it is up to you which survey you go ahead with. If you're taking out a mortgage your lender will insist you have a mortgage valuation.
Once you're ready to go ahead and any required finances are in place your conveyancer will proceed with the legal process.
